Feminist designer of our time Phoebe Philo looked at glamorisation of the female body. ‘ I feel like I’m always on guard for women not to be sexualised, I wanted to think more about a kind of tattered glamour for this collection’ said Philo. Long leather coats that resemble rain macs, body harness waistcoats made the models look authoritative but also romantic at the same time.
